Farm 2 Fork Food Co. Business Model

Farm to Fork Food Co. works with an assemblage of small, semi-commercial, commercial farmers to grow and source the freshest produce and food products for its clientele.

Full traceability is a must for all our products, thereby, linking customers directly from the farm to their forks.
Through this initiative, we ensure that we empower and cultivate as many emerging farmers as possible whilst ensuring that the quality, health and food standards are maintained throughout the process.

The Smallholder Farmer

Produce is sourced and aggregated from smallholder, semi-commercial and commercial farms with a focus on procuring as much as possible from the black smallholder farmer.

Fleet

F2F Food Co. owns a fleet of 13 vehicles both refrigerated and non-refrigerated. We can deliver locally, regionally or cross-border if required.

Land & Buildings

Through the wholesale and retail brands, the company owns a 2000sqm agro-processing and food production facility and 200sqm eatery and retail space in Kyalami as well as a 200sqm food production facility and 100sqm eatery and retail space in Woodmead.

The F2F Food Co. ecosystem supports over 400 black-owned small farmer cooperatives. We aim to graduate some of these small farm cooperatives into semi-commercial and commercial farms over the next five years.

The aggregation services provided by Agrigrow gives these farmers access to a market that they would not be able to get to individually.

JOB CREATION AND PRESERVATION

Through initiatives with our partner organisations and our own brands, we have created over 2000 job opportunities with some of these jobs being preserved via acquisitions of companies that may not have survived the lockdowns due to Covid-19.
